De Dierenbescherming is sinds 1864 de grootste NL organisatie die zich inzet voor dierenwelzijn. De website biedt nieuws, beleidsstandpunten, tips voor dierenbezitters en informatie over actuele dierenwelzijnskwesties.

Naast de bekende meldpunt-functie vinden bezoekers er informatie over adoptie, vakantieopvang, agressie bij honden en honderden andere onderwerpen.
